Nine Philosophy Undergraduates Presented with Scholarships

Nine philosophy undergraduates were presented with scholarships for the 2021-2022 academic year. The scholarships and recipients are listed below.

The Lois Green Scholarship is designed to recognize promising undergraduate students at the university who are studying or intend to study philosophy. The recipients of this scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year are Emily Ann Pasetes, Clay Ward, Sanketh Bhaskar, Natalie Hartl, Jack Popovich, and Yixiao Xiong. All of the recipients of this award graduated this spring.

The Doerscher Scholarship is designed to recognize an eligible student who has shown, over many courses in philosophy, the highest consistent level of performance throughout their career in the major. The recipients of this scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year are Francis Fabian and Jack Warshawsky. Francis and Jack graduated this spring.

The Crombie Scholarship is designed to recognize an eligible student who is a freshman, sophomore, or junior and who has demonstrated academic merit and distinction in the study of philosophy.  The recipient of this scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year is Meghan Reynolds.
